A court has sentenced two Russian soldiers to 11 years in prison for robbing a jewelry store in occupied Izyum. They stole a safe with gold jewelry, causing damage of more than 8 million UAH.
In the Kharkiv region, a court found guilty two Russian servicemen who robbed the store of a well-known Ukrainian jewelry brand, causing material damage of more than UAH 8 million. Reports UNN with reference to the press service of the Office of the prosecutor general.

Two Russian soldiers who stole more than UAH 8 million worth of gold during the occupation of Izyum were sentenced to 11 years in prison, prosecutors say.
The convicts are two privates of military unit 91726, grenade throwers of the howitzer-artillery division.
Prosecutors proved that at the end of April 2022, when the city of Izyum was occupied, two Russian servicemen robbed the store of a well-known Ukrainian jewelry brand.
Taking advantage of the fact that the store was damaged, they entered it and stole a safe with almost two kilograms of gold jewelry. They loaded the safe into the car and drove away.
The invaders caused material damage to the store owner for more than UAH 8 million.
