The Sumy Regional State Administration called on people to refrain from visiting cemeteries in the 20-kilometer zone from the border with the Russian Federation due to mines. They also reminded the rules of conduct when detecting explosive objects.

Residents of Sumy region are advised to refrain from visiting cemeteries within 20 kilometers of the Russian-Ukrainian border. This was reported by the press service of the Sumy Regional Military Administration in Telegram, reports UNN.
Details
In some communities of the region, after de-occupation, explosive objects remained: mines, grenades, etc. In order to avoid danger, civilians are strictly prohibited from:
- touching the found object (moving, disassembling
etc.);
- using open flame sources (cigarettes,
matches, lighters);
- using radio electronic communication devices (mobile
phones, remote controls, car control keys);
- pouring or covering an explosive object with soil,
any liquid, or covering the explosive with something;
- allowing people to gather near the object.
Citizens were also reminded of the rules of conduct in case of detection of explosive objects:
- avoid panic, remember the place of detection
of the object, do not touch anything;
- inform people who are near you about the dangerous
object and call the appropriate services. This must be done without delay,
clearly, indicating the exact address (landmarks) of the location
of the explosive object;
- do not allow people to the location of the explosives until
the arrival of sappers.
