Psychological exhaustion after years of grief and uncertainty will not end after the war, but will accompany Ukrainians for a long time. This was stated by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, founder of the Invictus Games Foundation, during the 18th annual Kyiv Security Forum, UNN reports.
In addition to the visible losses, there are also invisible ones: the trauma of those returning, the psychological pressure on families living under constant shelling and bombing, the exhaustion after years of uncertainty and grief.
According to Prince Harry, the end of the war itself will not bring a quick psychological recovery. "This is something that will have to be dealt with, and it will be a long period," he added.
The war is fought not only on the battlefield, but also in people's minds... Through disinformation and the slow creeping erosion of hope. Psychological warfare aims to divide people, it is absolutely clear that people are exhausted.
At the same time, he noted that Ukrainians "continue to stick together and should continue to do so."
