President presents highest state awards to defenders of Ukraine and families of fallen Heroes

President Zelenskyy presented the highest state awards, including the Order of the Golden Star and the Cross of Military Merit, to Ukrainian servicemen and families of fallen heroes for their courage and defense of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the Order of the Golden Star to the military, who were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine, and to the families of the fallen Heroes, as well as the Cross of Military Merit. This is stated on the website of the President's Office, UNN reports .

The Head of State emphasized that Ukraine continues to recognize the bravery of Ukrainian soldiers who defend their home from the enemy.
The world has chosen to support Ukraine because Ukraine is fighting and doing so with real courage. Today, we are honoring the people who are the source of this bravery, who liberated our land, defended Ukrainian positions, saved their comrades-in-arms and destroyed the occupier with the highest awards of our state, the highest military honors. We are honoring people who are worthy of all-Ukrainian gratitude,
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the families of Ukrainian Heroes for the brave sons and daughters of Ukraine, as well as the sergeants and officers who care about the soldiers.
I ask you to remember each and every one of those who gave their lives in battle for the sake of Ukraine,
The Head of State presented the highest state award - the Order of the Golden Star - to the families of seven fallen heroes. Three active servicemen also received the order. Ten Ukrainian defenders were awarded the Cross of Military Merit.
