According to the publication, the Board of Peace established by U.S. President Donald Trump has signed a contract with the American company Arkel International to build a military base in the Gaza Strip.
It is noted that up to 150 military personnel are initially planned to be stationed at the base; they are expected to be Moroccan citizens. In the future, the facility is intended to be expanded so that it can accommodate up to 4,000 troops.

According to the publication's assessment, the use of Moroccan troops, given Morocco's status as one of the United States' main non-NATO allies, could become an indirect form of American control over the Gaza Strip. At the same time, for Morocco, such participation is viewed as an opportunity to strengthen its influence in the region.
