Parliament approves duty and VAT exemption for imports of energy equipment

The Verkhovna Rada abolished tax and customs duties on imports of essential equipment, with amendments providing for exemption from duty and VAT on imports of energy equipment.
The Verkhovna Rada has adopted as a whole draft laws No. 11258 and No. 11259, with amendments providing for exemption from customs duties and VAT on imports of energy equipment, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak from the Tax Committee said on Tuesday, UNN reports.

"The Rada adopted as a whole (draft laws) No. 11258 and No. 11259 on the abolition of tax and customs duties for the production and/or repair of mechanized demining machines. "For" - 305 and 313," Zheleznyak wrote in X.
According to him, the documents "contain amendments on exemption from customs duties and VAT on the import of energy equipment into Ukraine.

- equipment for wind and solar generation;
- batteries (except for low-power batteries).
Also, according to him, we are talking about equipment for the manufacture of means of countering technical intelligence.
