Oil transit from Russia through Ukraine doubled in July - analytical report

The volume of Russian oil transit through Ukraine to the EU increased to 1.09 million tons in July 2024. Most of the oil was transported to Hungary, with supplies to Slovakia and the Czech Republic increasing significantly.
The supply of oil has intensified, with most of the oil being transported to Hungary in July. It is not known which companies own the oil. UNN writes with reference to EXPRO Consulting.

Transit of Russian oil to the EU through the Ukrainian part of the Druzhba pipeline doubled in July 2024.
According to the analytical note, the volume increased to 1.09 million tons, despite Hungary and Slovakia's announcement that they would stop supplying Lukoil with raw materials.
Transit volumes in July amounted to 35.2 tons per day;
August - 33.3 tons per day.
It is not known which companies own the oil transported through Ukraine to Europe.

In July, most of the oil was transported to Hungary - 0.43 million tons, which is 8% less than in June. Oil supplies to Slovakia, on the other hand, increased 5 times to 0.34 million tons. In addition, 0.32 million tons of oil were transported to the Czech Republic, while in June there was no transit to the Czech Republic.
