Official exchange rates for May 20: Euro becomes cheaper

The National Bank has set the dollar exchange rate at 44.15 hryvnia, while the euro will cost 51.30 hryvnia. The currency has slightly depreciated compared to the previous banking day.
As of Wednesday, May 20, the National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate at 44.15 hryvnia per dollar. The official rate on Tuesday was 44.16 hryvnia per dollar. The official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro will be 51.30. This is reported by UNN with reference to NBU data.

The official dollar exchange rate is: 44.1530 UAH (-1 kop.) per dollar. The NBU also set the official euro to hryvnia exchange rate at: 51.2970 UAH (-11 kop.) per 1 euro. The official zloty exchange rate is: 12.0888 UAH (-2 kop.) per 1 zloty.
According to data on specialized websites, as of 08:00 Wednesday:
- in banks, the dollar is trading at a rate of 43.89-44.38 UAH, the euro at 51.10-51.70 UAH, and the zloty at 11.80-12.40 UAH;
- on the interbank market, the rates are 44.15-44.18 UAH/USD and 51.29-51.31 UAH/EUR.

During the first four months of 2026, Ukrainians paid 15.8 billion UAH in land tax — 14.3% more than last year. The largest budget revenues were recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Kyiv.
