Russian soldiers are increasingly refusing to take part in assault operations in the Tauride sector; some of them are surrendering due to ill-treatment.

There is information about an increasing number of Russians refusing to participate in assault operations in the Tauride direction, in particular, this is recorded in the units of the First Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces. This was reported by the spokesman for the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Oleksandr Stupun, during a marathon, according to a UNN correspondent.

In total, the enemy carried out 16 air strikes, 40 combat engagements and 906 artillery attacks in the Tavria operational area. This amount, about a thousand artillery attacks, has been going on for about five days now

-  Stupun said.

According to him, the enemy keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian troops repelled 14 enemy attacks east of Novobakhmutivka, in the areas of Stepove and Avdiivka, as well as 17 attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk region.

There is information about the increasing number of refusals of the occupiers to participate in assault operations, in particular, this is recorded in the units of the first army corps of the Russian armed forces. It should be noted that whole groups of Russian soldiers have begun to surrender... One of the reasons why the enemy does this is the inhuman treatment of them by the command

- Stupun said.

According to him, for refusing to go on pointless assaults or for any other offenses, officers strip them naked, put them in cold pits, beat them and threaten them with execution.

"Total occupants' losses amounted to 402 people in the Tavria operational area yesterday, eight invaders surrendered," he added.
