North Korean instructors spotted at training ground near occupied Mariupol - Andriushchenko
Kyiv • UNN
At the training ground between Mariupol and Sartana, 10-15 instructors from North Korea were found. They are training the Russian military to work with North Korean artillery and ammunition.
Instructors from North Korea are present at one of the training grounds located between Mariupol and Sartana. This was reported by the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko on one of the Ukrainian TV channels, UNN reports.
"Today, if we take the training grounds, there are three operating training grounds around Mariupol and from Mariupol to Berdiansk. One of the training grounds is located near Berdiansk - Novopetrivsk training ground, another training ground is located on the border of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions along the coast - between the villages Babakh-Tarama and Kulykivske," said Andriushchenko.
He noted that there is a third landfill, which is new and built between Mariupol and Sartana.
"This is a training ground where instructors from North Korea are present. At least, we recorded them at the construction stage, and our people systematically continue to record their presence in the surrounding area. Their (DPRK instructors - ed.) number is small - 10-15 people," Andriushchenko said.
He noted that it is very difficult to fix, but the third training ground, which is between Mariupol and Sartana, is much more closely guarded by Russians, even when troops are transferred to this training ground for training, they completely block the roads, make it difficult to move, in other words, they take absolutely unprecedented security measures. The Russians do not take such security measures at other training grounds.
Andriushchenko noted that at this training ground, instructors from North Korea train Russians with North Korean weapons, such as cannon artillery, shells, and so on.
