No power outages are planned due to the destruction of the Tripillya thermal power plant as a result of the Russian attack. The press service of Ukrenergo informed the journalist of UNN .
When asked whether there are any plans to cut off electricity due to the destruction of the Trypillia TPP, Ukrenergo replied: "No, there are no plans.
Ukrenergo noted that there is currently no shortage of electricity in the Ukrainian power system.
"There is no deficit in the system now, on the contrary, there is a surplus. This means that there is a surplus in the system. Solar power plants are operating at full capacity, in addition to all other types of power plants in our power system. But in the evening hours, when consumption is highest, in particular from 19:00 to 22:00, we are forecasting a slight deficit in the power system, but we do not plan any outages," Ukrenergo said.
Ukrenergo said it would find resources to balance the power system in the evening.
Nevertheless, the company urged consumers to adhere to a frugal consumption regime from 19:00 to 22:00.
"Of course, it will help us a lot if consumers adhere to a frugal consumption regime, do not turn on all powerful appliances at the same time during these hours of the day, turn off the lights as much as possible where possible, and postpone laundry to night hours, because it is very important not to overload the power system that is recovering from the attack, the power facilities that are recovering from the attack, so that power engineers can carry out restoration and repair work faster," Ukrenergo explained.
