As a result of the night attack by the Russian Federation on Kyiv, railway infrastructure was damaged, traffic on one of the sections is temporarily carried out by diesel locomotives, long-distance trains are running on schedule, minor deviations from the schedule of Kyiv City Express trains are possible, Ukrzaliznytsia JSC reported on Thursday, writes UNN.
Due to the night enemy shelling of the capital, we have damage to the railway infrastructure in one of the city's districts. Traffic on this section is temporarily carried out by diesel locomotives. Employees and passengers were not injured.
All relevant services, as indicated, are already working on site. "We expect the full restoration of traffic on the section by about 9 am," the company said.
Long-distance trains are running on schedule. However, there may be minor deviations from the schedule of Kyiv City Express trains in the direction from Sviatoshyn to Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi station.
"We are working to return to the usual schedule as soon as possible," the message says.
