The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is introducing new rules for submitting and reviewing reports from military personnel. The changes are aimed at protecting the rights of the military, establishing clear deadlines for review and increasing the responsibility of commanders.
The Defense Ministry is introducing new rules for submitting and reviewing military reports. The new changes are aimed at protecting the rights of servicemen, clearly establishing deadlines for reviewing appeals and increasing the responsibility of commanders, UNN reports with reference to the department.
Main innovations:
- Reporting forms are clearly defined: oral, written, and electronic.
- The sequence of report approval by commanders has been established.
- Obligatory justification in case of disagreement with the report.
- Guaranteed consideration of reports on military discipline, combat missions, personnel health and leave no later than 48 hours after submission.
- Reports on other issues should be reviewed within 14 days.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that no refusal stops the further movement of the report, and no one can be held liable for filing a report.
"This step is part of the reforms in the Ministry of Defense and is aimed at strengthening the protection of the rights of the military," the ministry summarized.
