MP: 524 prosecutors in Ukraine have the status of persons with disabilities

Ukraine's prosecutor's office employs 831 people with disability status, of whom 524 are prosecutors, said MP Honcharenko.
Currently, 831 employees work in the prosecutor's offices of Ukraine, of whom 524 have the status of a person with a disability. Most prosecutors with disabilities work in regional and district prosecutor's offices - 496. This was reported by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko on Monday in Telegram, UNN reports.

"524 prosecutors in Ukraine have the status of a person with a disability. This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office in response to my parliamentary inquiry," Honcharenko said.
Honcharenko said that the prosecutor's office of Ukraine currently employs 831 people with the status of a person with a disability, including 524 prosecutors.
According to the data provided by the Prosecutor General, the Office of the Prosecutor General employs 66 employees with the status of persons with disabilities, including 26 prosecutors. The SAPO has 3 such employees, including 2 prosecutors. The regional and district prosecutor's offices employ 762 such persons, including 496 prosecutors.
According to Honcharenko, out of this number of prosecutors, 8 first deputies and deputy heads of regional prosecutor's offices have the status of a person with a disability.
According to the MP, there are currently no employees with the status of a person with a disability among the heads of regional prosecutor's offices.

The Office of the Prosecutor General reported on an internal investigation into possible abuses by prosecutors when receiving disability groups. Cherkasy and Khmelnytskyi regions have the highest percentage of prosecutors with disability status.
