Overnight, Russian troops attacked the civilian infrastructure of the Shostka community in the Sumy region using drones and a missile. As a result of the strikes, a 60-year-old woman was killed, and two other people sought medical assistance. This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, on Telegram, according to UNN.

According to him, the strikes were deliberately aimed at residential buildings where civilians lived. As a result of the attack, large-scale fires broke out in the private sector, and some residents had to be urgently evacuated.

He also noted that two victims sought medical attention, while other residents were successfully evacuated in time. Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the attack continued throughout the night.
