Military chaplains of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have completed training at a US training base in Germany

Ukrainian military chaplains were trained in Germany, where they studied chaplaincy functions, ethics, counseling and trauma management according to NATO standards. The program included practical exercises and allowed for the exchange of field experience.
At the US training base in Germany, military chaplains of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were trained. The priests were taught the functions of a chaplain, military ethics, the basics of counseling, work with trauma, and chaplaincy in NATO countries. This was reported by the StratCom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to UNN.

There were also theoretical and practical and practical exercises and debates with the participation of chaplains of the Commonwealth countries.
It is noted, that Ukrainian priests were able to share with their partners their experience of working in and work with Ukrainian soldiers undergoing training.

In December 2021, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the law "On the Service of Military Chaplaincy".
