Military blogger who deceived subscribers during fundraising for the Armed Forces is served with new suspicion notice

Vladislav Hranetsky-Stafiychuk, known as Sord, was served a notice of suspicion for illegal possession of weapons. Earlier, the blogger was accused of embezzling 350 thousand hryvnias from a collection for mortars for the Armed Forces.
Law enforcement officers have served a new suspicion on military blogger Vladyslav Hranetsky-Stafiychuk, who goes by the pseudonym Sord, for illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives. Earlier, he was served with a suspicion notice for fraud in raising UAH 3.5 million for mortars. This was reported by the National Police , UNN reports.

“In December, investigators gathered enough evidence to serve the offender another suspicion notice - for illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives (Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). At the same time, the suspect was served a motion to change the measure of restraint from house arrest to custody. The suspect faces up to seven years in prison,” the statement said.
The National Police reports that law enforcement officers seized the ammunition from the suspect during a search conducted in November this year and served him with a notice of suspicion of fraud committed under martial law, which caused significant damage to the victim. It is about at least 350 thousand hryvnias that the defendant embezzled from a fundraising of 3.5 million hryvnias to purchase five mortars for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
