The occupation court of Crimea sentenced a 45-year-old man to 15 years in prison for allegedly passing the coordinates of Russian air defense forces to the SBU. The convict allegedly sent the data via a messenger in September 2023.

The Russian-controlled Supreme Court of Crimea has sentenced a 45-year-old resident of Kerch to 15 years in prison for allegedly collaborating with Ukraine's special services. This was reported by "Krym Realii", UNN reports.

It is alleged that the convicted Crimean resident in September 23, using one of the messengers, allegedly sent the SBU the coordinates of the location of the Russian air defense forces in Kerch.

"The transmitted data could have been used to launch fire strikes on the locations of Russian military personnel," the statement said.

It is noted that the sentence was passed under the article on high treason (Article 274 of the Criminal Code). The name and surname of the convicted person is not mentioned. He has not commented publicly on the verdict. The SBU did not comment on the verdict.
