The city council explained that three more streets were added to the list of place names to be decolonized. These are Kosmonavtiv Street in Vynnyky and Bryukhovychi, and V. Didushko Street in Lviv.

On July 19, an unknown person shot at Iryna Farion, a linguist and professor at Lviv Polytechnic. The woman was taken to the hospital with a head wound in an extremely serious condition. In the hospital Iryna Farion died.
Police have several versions of the murder of linguist Irina Farion, including public and political activities and personal animosity. Law enforcement officers found a shell casing after the shooting and do not rule out a “Russian trace” in the crime.
Today in Lviv, the funeral service of Iryna Farion was held in the Garrison Church of Lviv . Relatives, colleagues, party members and supporters from different cities of Ukraine came to say goodbye to the linguist.
