Air quality in Kyiv deteriorates due to a fire caused by a Russian missile attack; residents are advised to stay indoors.
In Kyiv, as a result of a fire in the Podil district caused by a Russian missile attack, local air quality deterioration is observed, and it is recommended to limit staying outside in places of smoke. This is reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration, UNN writes.
As a result of a fire in the Podil district of the capital caused by a missile attack on December 29, localized deterioration in air quality is observed in Kyiv as of 10:30 a.m. In the northern part of the city, an increase in the concentration of combustion products, in particular suspended particles (dust), is recorded
At the same time, it is noted that no exceedance of the maximum permissible concentrations of substances was detected.
For those who are in places with smoke, it is recommended to stay in the area until the air situation improves:
- close the windows;
- limit your time outside;
- drink plenty of water;
- if you have an air purifier, turn it on to the maximum setting.
