Law enforcers investigate incident involving head of psychiatric hospital in Poltava - RMA

In Poltava, a man using an excavator tried to demolish a walnut tree that was obstructing a parking lot. The conflict with local residents escalated into a shooting with a traumatic weapon, and there were victims.
There was an incident in Poltava that required police intervention. An internal investigation is currently underway, and law enforcement officers are also studying the situation, after which they will be able to give their assessment of the incident. This was reported by Philip Pronin, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, according to UNN.
The details of the incident will be provided after a full examination of all the circumstances, the issue is under the control of RMA.

UNN wrote that on December 16 in Poltava, a conflict between local residents occurred over a walnut tree in the yard of an apartment building. A 40-year-old man, who arrived drunk on an excavator, tried to demolish the tree, which, in his opinion, was interfering with the parking of his car. During the maneuvers, he destroyed the fence, which led to a quarrel with the residents. According to eyewitnesses, the man pulled out a traumatic pistol and started shooting. All participants were injured.
The police opened criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Hooliganism). The investigation is ongoing.
