Dmitry Kuleba has been appointed a senior fellow at the Belfer Center at Harvard Kennedy School. He will be engaged in research on global security and geopolitics, periodically attending the University.

Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has been appointed a senior fellow at the Belfer Center for science and international relations at Harvard Kennedy School.

This is a new stage in his career, where he will study Global Security, Geopolitics and foreign policy.

Dmytro Ivanovich Kuleba is a Ukrainian politician and diplomat who served as the minister of foreign affairs of Ukraine (2020-2024). Since 2024, he has been a senior fellow at the Beler Center for science and international relations at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of management

Kuleba became the youngest foreign minister in the history of Ukraine and headed diplomacy in the most difficult moments of Russian aggression. He played an important role in forming international alliances, providing military assistance to Ukraine, imposing sanctions against Russia, promoting the country's Euro-Atlantic aspirations, and expanding ties with Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Achievements on the diplomatic front  

Kuleba was known for his ability to communicate effectively internationally. Under his leadership, the Ministry of foreign affairs of Ukraine became the first in the world to introduce artificial intelligence for conducting communications. In addition, he initiated the concepts of digital diplomacy and strategic communications.

Kuleba is also the author of the books "war for reality. How to win in the world of fakes, truth and communities", where he explores in detail the current challenges of information warfare, as well as offers tools to combat manipulation in the digital age.

Assignment to a new role  

Dmitry Kuleba's appointment as a senior fellow at the Belfer Center underscores his international recognition as one of the most influential diplomats of his generation, ready to analyze and solve global problems in the new realities of world politics.

Harvard notes that Dmitry Kuleba is a non-resident senior researcher. This means that he will stay in Ukraine, but during the academic semester he will attend Harvard School in Cambridge for face-to-face meetings with students and teachers.
