Analysis confirmed damage to the ELOU-AVT-6 unit and the visbreaking section. The facility will be unable to operate in its normal mode until repairs are completed.

At the Saratov Oil Refinery, following attacks previously carried out by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, damage to a number of important production facilities has been recorded. This is evidenced by an analysis from Exilenova+, UNN reports.
Details
According to analysts, visual evidence confirms damage to the ELOU-AVT-6 primary oil refining unit, the visbreaking section, several storage tanks, and technological pipe racks.
It is noted that ELOU-AVT-6 is a key unit of the enterprise, where processes of desalination, dehydration, and primary distillation of oil into main fractions take place. At the same time, the visbreaking unit is used for the thermal processing of heavy oil residues to obtain additional light petroleum products and reduce the volume of fuel oil.
Analysts believe that the nature of the damage may indicate a partial or complete suspension of operations at the Saratov Refinery. According to their assessment, the enterprise will likely be unable to operate in its normal mode until the assessment of the attack's consequences is completed and restoration work is carried out.
