The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has finalized the registration of the JETRO representative office. This will deepen trade ties between the countries, accelerate the introduction of Japanese technologies and open new markets for Japanese products in Ukraine.
The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has completed the registration of a representative office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). This was stated by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, UNN reports.

The opening of such a representative office is expected to deepen trade ties between the countries.
The ministry explains that the opening of the representative office will accelerate the introduction of Japanese technologies in Ukraine and open new markets for Japanese brand products to be manufactured in our country.
According to Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Representative of Ukraine, the opening of JETRO's office in Ukraine is a "strategic step" made possible by productive negotiations with the Japanese government.
According to him, this "marks the beginning of a new era of cooperation" between Japan and Ukraine.

The Ministry of Economy adds that Japan plans to provide $188 million to support Ukraine's economic recovery projects.
Ukraine's priorities include energy, utilities, critical infrastructure, humanitarian demining, and business support.
