The occupation authorities have banned the extraterritorial principle of notary services in Luhansk region. The documents are stuck in other cities, and the queue for the only notary is scheduled until spring 2025.

During the occupation, a notary from Lysychansk was working in Siverskodonetsk, coming once or twice a week. But recently, a person has no right to apply to a notary in another settlement of the so-called “lPR”. The extraterritorial principle of providing the relevant services is prohibited.
Also, despite the fact that a separate notary was subsequently allocated to the occupied city, the documents did not reach him. As noted, “the documents that were being processed in other cities where no one is involved have not yet been transferred.
That is, those who have registration in Siverskodonetsk have been allocated, but the queue to the notary is distributed until the spring of 2025 - for the next four months. The population has no other option but to wait.
