In Moscow, the wives of mobilized soldiers reached the building of the Russian Defense Ministry. The women were surrounded by police, and detentions began, UNN reports, citing the Astra Telegram channel.
According to Astra, the wives of the mobilized men came to the ministry with sleeping bags to demand the return of their husbands from the war in Ukraine and planned to spend the night outside the building. They timed the action to coincide with the Day of Family, Love and Loyalty, which is celebrated in Russia today.
The protesters were surrounded by police officers, who offered the women to talk to the receptionist of the Russian Defense Ministry.
Detentions began on the spot - the relatives of the mobilized were not touched by the security forces, but the activists who sympathize with them began to take away their passports and then take them away.
It is not yet known whether the action near the walls of the Russian Defense Ministry continues.
