The incident took place in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the city.
The police received a report from an ambulance doctor that a 27-year-old man with wounds to his arm and abdomen was found in an apartment on Akademika Koroliova Avenue and subsequently hospitalized.
As the police established, the man made a remark regarding the loud behavior of a group of women and men who were relaxing near his house. During the conflict, one of the women pulled out a pistol and fired several shots toward the victim, after which she fled the scene.
The woman was identified — according to police, she was a 43-year-old local resident. She was detained, the police reported.
During a search of the suspect's residence, police seized a pistol and ammunition, which were sent for forensic examination.
The suspect was notified of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – hooliganism committed with the use of a weapon. She faces up to seven years in prison for her actions.
