In Khmelnytskyi, a man was detained for shooting at a service vehicle and a civilian car. Investigators have opened a case on the grounds of armed hooliganism.

In Khmelnytskyi, on Instytutska Street, law enforcement officers detained a man who suddenly began firing from an object resembling a pneumatic pistol. This was reported by the Patrol Police of Ukraine, according to UNN.
Today on Instytutska Street, while patrolling, we noticed a man who suddenly began firing from an object resembling a pneumatic pistol. The offender fired several shots and hit a parked civilian car and a service vehicle passing by. The patrol officers reacted instantly. After stopping the vehicle, the inspectors detained the man using handcuffs and special equipment,
It is reported that an investigative-operational group was called to the scene to establish all the circumstances. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
Investigators have entered the information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 4 of Art. 296 (Hooliganism committed with the use of a weapon or another object adapted for inflicting bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The man has been detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
