In China, the approach of the powerful Typhoon "Dolphin" has prompted the suspension of transport infrastructure operations in the Yangtze River Delta region. According to the publication, Ningbo Lishe International Airport plans to completely suspend flights from 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, and throughout Sunday due to the approaching storm.

China Eastern Airlines has already canceled some flights to and from Zhejiang Province. Air China and China Southern Airlines have introduced the option of canceling or changing the relevant flights free of charge.

The restrictions have also affected railway services. China Railway Shanghai Group said that, starting Sunday, a number of trains in parts of the Yangtze River Delta region would be suspended. Some restrictions on certain routes may continue until Thursday.

On Saturday, the China Meteorological Administration raised the emergency response level for Typhoon "Dolphin" to Level III. This is the third-highest level in the relevant response system.

The typhoon is expected to make landfall on the coast of China in the area between Zhoushan in Zhejiang Province and Fuding in Fujian Province from Sunday evening to Monday morning
