As a result of an attack by four Shahed drones with cassette equipment in Sumy, two people were killed and 13 injured. Significant damage to the city's infrastructure was also reported.
For the first time, Russia used "shakedown" drones with cluster munitions in Sumy, causing significant casualties and destruction. According to the Sumy RMA, two people were killed and 13 others were injured. This was reported by the head of the Sumy RMA Volodymyr Artyukh during a telethon on Friday, UNN reports.

"For the first time, Russia used "Shakhtys" in cluster munitions, a weapon designed to kill people. This is the 2nd use of cluster weapons, as the previous one was on Sunday in Iskander," said Artyukh.
According to him, there are 13 wounded and two dead.
"There were four such "shakedowns". A lot of infrastructure was destroyed, but first of all, we lost people, many were wounded," added the RMA head.
He is convinced that the enemy is trying to create panic and conduct a psychological attack to make people want to negotiate.
