The GUR's cyber corps carried out a DDOS attack on the Russian MTS Bank, which led to a large-scale disruption of services. Customers are unable to use online applications, make transfers and withdraw cash.

Specialists of the Main Intelligence Directorate have once again attacked the Russian financial sector, which is involved in the supply of the Russian occupation army. This time, MTS Bank came under attack, which suffered a large-scale failure yesterday. This was reported by UNN with reference to sources.

According to Ukrainian intelligence sources, a powerful DDOS attack was launched against the bank, which resulted in the blocking of the bank's services, the inability to use the institution's online applications, and interruptions in the operation of payment systems.

Users complain about the inability to use the bank's mobile application (no access and personal data of users in the application disappears), transfer funds, withdraw cash from bank accounts/cards, replenish accounts and pay for services.

MTS Business online banking is also not functioning, which affects the business market and the provision/payment of services. Individual cases of chaotic debiting of funds from the bank's customers' accounts are also reported in open sources. At the same time, the bank's customer support denies the fact of an external attack, and comments from dissatisfied users are promptly removed from online resources.
