The government will allocate 1000 UAH of additional assistance to orphans and children without parental care for St. Nicholas Day. The Cabinet of ministers also adopted a strategy to ensure the right of children to family education until 2028.
In Ukraine, on the occasion of St. Nicholas Day, orphans and children deprived of parental care, who are brought up in families of guardians or guardians, will receive an additional one thousand hryvnias for each child at a time. This was stated by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, reports UNN.

He noted that the main goals of the strategy are comprehensive support for biological families, so that children do not end up in care facilities. These include inclusive education, high-quality medicine, effective social services, community support, and so on.
"The strategy is designed until 2028, and its implementation begins now. Responsible ministries and departments will be involved for this purpose," the prime minister added.
