Government dismisses Deputy Energy Minister Vlasenko and Head of the State Agency for Energy Supervision

The Cabinet of Ministers dismissed First Deputy Energy Minister Yuriy Vlasenko and Head of the State Energy Supervision Ruslan Slobodian. The Cabinet also dismissed the Deputy Minister of Social Policy and appointed acting ministers to some positions.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has dismissed First Deputy Energy Minister Yuriy Vlasenko and Head of the State Energy Supervision Inspectorate Ruslan Slobodian. This was announced by the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk on Telegram, UNN reports .

Melnychuk said he was fired:

- Yuriy Vlasenko from the post of First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine;

- Slobodian Ruslan Oleksandrovych from the position of the Head of the State Energy Supervision Inspectorate of Ukraine.

The Cabinet also dismissed Nazar Tanasyshyn from the post of Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine. 

Temporarily assigned to perform duties:

- Anatoliy Zamulko, Head of the State Energy Supervision Inspectorate of Ukraine;

- Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for Oleksiy Migrin.

In June , Ruslan Slobodian stated that it would not be possible to completely avoid blackouts during the winter.
