Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, together with Ukraine, are working on a possible negotiation format that could involve Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in discussions to end the war. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing sources, according to UNN.

According to the agency, representatives of Europe's three largest economies have in recent weeks discussed with the Ukrainian side the possibility of holding negotiations involving Kyiv and Moscow. The initiative emerged against the backdrop of a virtual stalemate in US-led peace efforts.
Bloomberg's interlocutors note that European allies believe Ukraine's positions are stronger due to successful drone strikes on Russian territory and the rising casualties of Russian troops. In their view, this could create conditions for the Kremlin to agree to a dialogue.

European countries also seek to avoid another difficult winter, during which Russia could intensify attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure and civilian targets. At the same time, sources emphasize that no decisions will be made without Ukraine's consent.
According to the agency, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer plans to hold talks in the coming days with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and French President Emmanuel Macron, during which the issue of possible negotiations regarding Ukraine will be one of the key topics.
