Kyiv • UNN
Georgia's security service has announced plans by “destructive forces” to escalate the situation in the country before the December 14 presidential election. Seven activists have already been detained in Tbilisi and Kutaisi after a peaceful protest.
The State Security Service of Georgia said that, according to its data, “destructive forces” are planning to aggravate the situation in the country at protests until December 14, and that it may lead to human casualties. This was reported by UNN with reference to NEWSGEORGIA.
The organizers of destructive and criminal activities plan to interfere with the electoral process of the president of Georgia on December 14, 2024. To this end, the organizers of the crime are considering the possibility of maximizing the situation, for which 2-3 people may die
It is claimed that the aggravation of the situation may begin as early as Tuesday.
"The implementation of these processes is provided by local entities with the Coordination of special services of foreign countries. The existing plan is being worked out according to scenarios typical of "color revolutions", which include various ritual scenes and gradual destruction, which end with the killing of civilians, in order to escalate events.
This is confirmed by the damage to surveillance cameras by destructive masked groups both in the protest zone and in the surrounding areas, which serves the sole purpose of making it difficult to identify those responsible for criminal actions," the statement reads.
