A temperature drop to -3°C is expected in Ukraine, threatening the harvest of fruit trees. Frosts will cover most regions and the capital on April 10-11.
Frosts in Ukraine are not planning to recede. In the next three days, frosts will move from the ground to the air, an orange level of danger has been declared. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center noted that due to the decrease in temperature, apricots, peaches, and cherry plums are under serious threat, UNN reports.

According to the forecasts of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on April 9, the most vulnerable regions will be the East, Chernihiv region, Sumy region, Poltava region, Dnipropetrovsk region, and Vinnytsia region. There, ground frosts will be 0...-3°C.
On April 10 and 11, frosts will move from the ground to the air: 0...-3°C. A level II danger (orange) is declared throughout Ukraine.
In Kyiv and the region:
- on the night of April 9, ground frosts are expected — 0...-3°C;
- on April 10-11, frost will hit the air: up to -3°C in the region and up to -2°C in Kyiv itself.
Since the cold snap has been going on for several days, early fruit trees (apricots, peaches, cherry plums) are under serious threat. If possible, continue to protect your plantings. Hold on and warm up!
