In Kherson region, a court sentenced a former employee of the State Emergency Service to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property and deprivation of the right to hold positions in state and local authorities for 15 years for collaboration.
The convict was also deprived of the special rank of captain of the civil defense service.
Prosecutors convincingly proved that during the temporary occupation of the region, the convict joined an illegally created body, where he held the position of "head of the legal department". In his pseudo-position, he worked with documents, conducted inventories, and recruited employees, for which he received a salary in rubles.
