The leader of 'Svoboda', Oleh Tyahnybok, was wounded due to a drone strike on a vehicle. He suffered a concussion and barotrauma; currently, the lieutenant colonel's life is not in danger.
The leader of the "Svoboda" party, former MP, and commander of the unmanned systems battalion of the 128th Brigade "Dyke Pole" (Wild Field), Oleh Tyahnybok, was wounded at the front, reported his fellow party member, Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsinkiv, on social media on Saturday, UNN reports.
Oleh Tyahnybok was wounded at the front. He was in a car with his comrades when it was hit by an enemy drone. We wish him a speedy recovery!
This was also reported by Senior Lieutenant Timur Knysh, deputy company commander of the battalion.
"Our commander, Lieutenant Colonel Oleh Tyahnybok, was wounded. While moving through the garrison territory, an FPV drone hit the car. Thank God this news became, I would say, bitter but not tragic. (...) A severe concussion with all the consequences—barotrauma and a brain injury. But the man is still alive, he survived, and medical assistance was provided. We are currently monitoring his health," Knysh said.
