Former MP Heorhiy Moser passes away

Heorhiy Moser, who was a member of the Ukrainian parliament of the second convocation, has died. He headed the subcommittee on foreign economic activity and was the leader of the Council of Germans in Ukraine.
People's Deputy of Ukraine of the second convocation Heorhiy Moser has died, UNN reports with reference to the Verkhovna Rada.
"The leadership of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, its Secretariat and people's deputies of Ukraine were deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of Heorhiy Moser, a member of the Ukrainian parliament of the second convocation," the statement said.
As reported in the Verkhovna Rada, as a member of the Ukrainian parliament, Heorhiy Moser chaired the subcommittee on foreign economic activity, export-import operations, creation and functioning of special economic zones of the Committee on Economic Policy and Management of the National Economy, a public figure who defended the rights of national minorities, a member of the Council on Ethnic and National Policy of Ukraine, and headed the Council of Germans of Ukraine.
