Former MP and former head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal died at the age of 73 after a serious illness.

Today, March 17, former MP and former head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal died after a serious illness. This was reported by MP Mykola Kniazhytskyi on his Facebook page, UNN reports .

Hennadiy Moskal died after a serious illness. May he rest in peace. My condolences to the family. He held many public positions, was a true patriot and a talented man. During the Revolution of Dignity, it was Hennadiy Moskal who warned Espresso journalists about planned attacks on the newly created Maidan channel, and later made public the plans of the Yanukovych government to destroy Espresso, Channel 5 and other patriotic media,

Hennadiy Moskal was born on December 11, 1950, in the village of Zadubrivka, Chernivtsi region. At one time he was a member of parliament of the 6th and 7th convocations. He has been the head of the Luhansk Regional Military-Civilian Administration since March 5, 2015. From July 15, 2015 to June 11, 2019, he was the head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration.
