Kyiv • UNN
Kyrylo Taran, a volunteer in Lviv, was detained by the military for refusing to show his military registration documents and undergo a medical examination. He also provoked a conflict with employees of the territorial center for recruitment and social support.
The Lviv Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support stated that volunteer Kyrylo Taran, who was detained by the TCC and forced into a minibus, refused to show his military registration documents and undergo a medical examination. He also provoked representatives of the TCC into a conflict. UNN reports this with reference to the post of the Lviv RTC and SS on Facebook.
In accordance with the Order of the Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration No. 1 of November 17, 2023 "On the verification of documents", the civilian failed to comply with the legal requirements of the military and did not present military registration documents to the representatives of the RTC and the SS. This citizen provoked the representatives of the RTC to a conflict
As noted, Taran did not update his military registration data. When he changed his place of residence, he did not register with the RTC and the SS at his new place of residence within 7 days. At the same time, he refused to undergo a military qualification examination.
The RTC reminded that all citizens who are liable for military service should update their data and, if there are reasons for a deferral, provide the relevant documents to their RTC and SS&
All the soldiers who carried out the warning measures and are shown in the video have combat experience, numerous wounds and state awards. All of them were transferred to the TCC and JFO for health reasons. We call on the public to stop manipulating this case and not to cast a shadow over the employees of the RTC, who, after being wounded at the front, are performing their tasks with dignity
They also reported that this fact is being investigated and all necessary measures will be taken.
