According to law enforcement officials, on the morning of August 4, police received a report that the bodies of two residents of the village of Pisochyn, aged 63 and 58, with gunshot wounds had been found in a garage. In the course of operational and investigative measures, the police found that a 57-year-old acquaintance of the deceased was involved in the crime.
The night before, the men had met at a garage cooperative and had a feast, during which they got into a quarrel. The enraged suspect grabbed an automatic weapon, shot his comrades and fled. For about a day, the attacker was hiding in a neighboring village with his friend.
On July 5, law enforcement officers detained the offender in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and served him a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
