The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail for an 18-year-old resident of Hlyboka, who is suspected of fatally beating a 27-year-old Bukovinian woman. He faces up to 10 years in prison.

The suspect in the fatal beating of a 27-year-old Bukovinian woman has been remanded in custody without the right to post bail, UNN reports, citing the Chernivtsi region police.
The court granted the request of law enforcement officers and arrested an 18-year-old resident of Hlyboka without the right to post bail. The suspect faces up to ten years in prison

On the night of April 5-6, a resident of Chernivtsi district with bodily injuries was hospitalized, where she later died. The woman's body was sent for forensic examination to establish the final cause of death.
According to the certificate of forensic experts, the cause of death of the 27-year-old resident of Hlyboka was a closed intracranial injury, which is causally related to the infliction of bodily injuries.
Police investigators informed the Bukovinian man of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 121 (Intentional grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and the court chose a preventive measure for him - detention without alternative bail.
Pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
