A 27-year-old woman died in Chernivtsi after being beaten. Police are investigating the involvement of her 18-year-old boyfriend. A criminal proceeding has been opened, and the results of the examination are awaited.
On Thursday, April 10, a 27-year-old woman, who was brutally beaten a few days ago, died in one of the hospitals in Chernivtsi. The police are investigating the involvement of the 18-year-old boyfriend of the deceased in the beating. This was reported during the briefing by the Deputy Head of the Investigation Department - Head of the Department for Investigation of Crimes against Life and Health of the Person Serhiy Buzumurga. reports UNN.

According to the lieutenant colonel of police, the necessary investigative actions are currently being carried out within the framework of the criminal proceedings: witnesses and eyewitnesses of the event have been interrogated and relevant examinations have been appointed.

The victim was first taken to the Hlybotskyi District Hospital on April 6. Later, she was transferred to the emergency hospital of the city of Chernivtsi with a preliminary diagnosis of "coma" caused by cerebral edema and other related diagnoses
He noted that after the opening of criminal proceedings, the police immediately began to conduct investigative actions to establish all the circumstances of this event. On April 9, the victim was examined by a forensic expert in the hospital. Law enforcement officers are currently awaiting the results of this examination and the conclusion of the SME.
Today, a Bukovinian woman died in the hospital. The criminal proceedings will be reclassified under Part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, intentional grievous bodily harm that resulted in the death of the victim. We are currently awaiting the results of a forensic medical examination, which will finally establish the cause of the woman's death.
