Exit from NPP unit repair should have a positive impact on reducing outage schedules - Ministry of Energy
Kyiv • UNN
A unit at the nuclear power plant has been repaired, which is expected to help reduce electricity consumption limits and stabilize Ukraine's power grid.
By reducing the temperature and returning the unit to the system, it is expected to optimize the schedules for limiting electricity consumption. Deputy Energy Minister Mykola Kolisnyk said this on the air of the telethon, according to a correspondent of UNN.
This should have a positive impact on reducing the schedules of power limits. This unit is already in the system, so we expect these limits to be optimized,
He said that the decline in heat should also have an impact on the reduction of electricity restriction schedules.
Recall
Power engineers have completed scheduled repairs at one of the NPP units ahead of schedule and connected it to the grid to strengthen the stability of Ukraine's power system in a difficult period when nuclear power covers more than half of the country's energy consumption.
