Exchange rates for August 4: euro significantly rises

The National Bank set the official dollar rate for August 4 at UAH 44.79. The euro rate is UAH 51.27.
As of Tuesday, August 4, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate at 44.79 hryvnias per dollar. The official rate on Monday was 44.64 hryvnias per dollar. The official hryvnia exchange rate to the euro will be 51.27. This is reported by UNN with reference to NBU data.
Details
The official dollar exchange rate is: 44.7876 UAH (+155 kopecks) per dollar. The NBU also set the official euro-to-hryvnia exchange rate at: 51.6423 UAH (+37 kopecks) per euro. The official zloty exchange rate is: 12.0006 UAH (+11 kopecks) per zloty.
According to data on specialized websites, as of 08:00 Tuesday:
- in banks, the dollar is traded at 44.52-45.02 UAH, the euro at 51.20-51.90 UAH, the zloty at 11.55-12.06 UAH;
- on the interbank market, the rates are 44.80-44.85 UAH/USD and 51.64-51.68 UAH/EUR.
Reminder
The National Bank of Ukraine worsened its inflation forecast for the end of 2026 to 10% from 9.4%, and to 6.9% in 2027 compared to 6.5% forecast in April.
