Zelenskyy announced the search for conventional instruments to deter Russia without nuclear weapons. In 2024, it is planned to produce 3,000 cruise missiles and 30,000 long-range drones.
Even without nuclear weapons, Ukraine can find conventional tools to deter Russia. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his speech in the Verkhovna Rada during the presentation of the "Resilience Plan", UNN reports.
Even without nuclear weapons, we can find conventional instruments of deterrence. Our weapons will always be our first guarantor. We are preparing a reliable financial basis for this. We are directing our own investments in weapons production and engaging partners
Prior to that, the President said that the first meeting of the Technology Rate would be held in early December.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhiy Tykhyi said that Ukraine does not intend to create nuclear weapons and remains committed to its international obligations on non-proliferation of nuclear technologies.
