Ireland convenes a meeting of the EU Council on Justice and Home Affairs due to the situation in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. This was announced by Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin on social media X, reports UNN.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 4. According to Martin, the session will be chaired by Ireland's Minister for Justice, Jim O'Callaghan.
