Details

According to Kotin, after the annexation of Crimea, the company began working to gradually abandon the supply of spare parts that are produced in the russian federation.

Energoatom has a separate division that produces a large number of spare parts. Those that we are not yet able to do are supplied from our partner countries of the Western world. We have practically replaced all the spare parts that were supplied from the russian federation

- said Kotin, commenting on the progress of the repair campaign at the nuclear power plant.

At the same time, the head of Energoatom noted that the main challenge was the situation in the domestic power grid. After all, given the significant damage caused by russian shelling, nuclear scientists faced an important task – to optimize repairs in order to leave the maximum capacity in the power grid.
