DTEK explains why it eased power outages during the weekend

On a sunny weekend, reduced consumption and production of solar energy helped reduce power outages across Ukraine.
Due to sunny weather and reduced consumption, the last weekend was marked by fewer power outages. DTEK Executive Director Dmytro Sakharov said this during a telethon, UNN reports .

According to him, on the weekends of July 6 and 7, the outages were reduced due to solar generation.
Both yesterday and today we managed to provide a somewhat more comfortable situation not only because consumption has fallen, but also because solar electricity makes it possible. It's a sunny day, so the solar stations are working at full capacity. This makes it possible to keep the lights on

On Monday, July 8, all regions of Ukraine will have stabilization blackouts throughout the day. Ukrenergo adds that there will be four simultaneous blackouts.
